KALITS Contributor & Partner Program Terms

1. Introduction

These Contributor & Partner Program Terms ("Agreement") govern participation in any contributor, journalist, analyst, columnist, guest author, freelance writer, editorial partner, content partner, rewards program, or compensation program operated by KALITS ("KALITS," "we," "our," or "us").

By applying, submitting content, participating in any contributor program, accepting compensation, or publishing content through KALITS, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not participate in any KALITS contributor or partner program.


2. About KALITS

KALITS is an independent digital publication covering:

  • News

  • Business

  • Personal Finance

  • Markets

  • Technology & Artificial Intelligence

  • Economy

  • Real Estate

  • Immigration

  • Opinion

KALITS publishes original reporting, analysis, commentary, educational content, expert opinions, market insights, and editorial content intended for informational purposes.


3. Eligibility

To participate in the KALITS Contributor & Partner Program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Have legal authority to enter into contracts.

  • Provide accurate information.

  • Comply with all applicable laws.

  • Meet KALITS editorial standards.

  • Complete all required tax documentation.

Participation is subject to approval by KALITS.

KALITS reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any application at its sole discretion.


4. Contributor Categories

Contributors may include:

  • Journalists

  • Freelance Writers

  • Reporters

  • Analysts

  • Industry Experts

  • Columnists

  • Opinion Contributors

  • Guest Authors

  • Researchers

  • Editorial Contributors

  • Content Partners

  • Strategic Partners

  • Media Partners

Participation in one category does not guarantee participation in any other category.


5. Independent Contractor Relationship

Contributors participate as independent contractors.

Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be interpreted as creating:

  • Employment

  • Partnership

  • Joint Venture

  • Agency Relationship

  • Employer-Employee Relationship

Contributors are solely responsible for:

  • Taxes

  • Insurance

  • Licenses

  • Permits

  • Legal compliance

  • Government reporting obligations

Contributors are not entitled to employee benefits offered by KALITS.


6. Tax Documentation Requirements

To comply with applicable United States tax laws and reporting requirements, contributors must provide the required tax documentation before receiving compensation.


6.1 Contributors Residing in the United States

Any contributor residing in the United States who receives compensation from KALITS must submit a completed IRS Form W-9.

This requirement applies regardless of:

  • Citizenship status

  • Immigration status

  • Visa category

  • Permanent residency status

Individual Contributors

Individual contributors may provide:

  • Social Security Number (SSN), or

  • Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)

Business Entities

U.S.-based business entities may provide:

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)

Examples include:

  • LLCs

  • Corporations

  • Partnerships

  • Sole Proprietorships

  • Other registered business entities

Failure to provide a valid W-9 may result in delayed or withheld payments.


6.2 Contributors Residing Outside the United States

Contributors residing outside the United States must provide the appropriate IRS tax documentation before receiving payment.

Individual Contributors

Foreign individuals must provide:

IRS Form W-8BEN

Foreign Business Entities

Foreign companies and legal entities must provide:

IRS Form W-8BEN-E

Examples include:

  • Foreign LLCs

  • Limited Companies (Ltd.)

  • SAS Entities

  • Corporations

  • Partnerships

  • Agencies

  • Media Companies

KALITS may request additional documentation for verification purposes.


6.3 Tax Responsibility

Contributors are solely responsible for:

  • Reporting income

  • Filing tax returns

  • Paying taxes

  • Complying with local tax laws

KALITS does not provide tax advice.

Contributors should consult qualified tax professionals regarding their obligations.


7. Editorial Standards

All submitted content must be:

  • Original

  • Accurate

  • Fact-based

  • Well-researched

  • Legally compliant

  • Non-deceptive

Contributors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

KALITS reserves the right to reject content that fails to meet editorial standards.


8. Fact-Checking Requirements

Contributors are responsible for verifying factual claims before submission.

Sources should be:

  • Reliable

  • Verifiable

  • Credible

KALITS reserves the right to request supporting documentation for any claim made in submitted content.


9. AI Content Policy

Artificial Intelligence tools may be used as research or drafting aids.

However:

  • Contributors remain fully responsible for content accuracy.

  • AI-generated misinformation is prohibited.

  • AI-generated plagiarism is prohibited.

  • Fully automated content may be rejected.

KALITS reserves the right to require disclosure of AI-assisted content creation.


10. Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

Contributors may not:

  • Copy content from other publishers.

  • Republish copyrighted content.

  • Use unauthorized translations.

  • Submit stolen content.

  • Submit AI-generated content that infringes third-party copyrights.

Violations may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid compensation.


11. Editorial Rights

KALITS retains full editorial control.

KALITS may:

  • Edit content

  • Update content

  • Modify headlines

  • Rewrite sections

  • Improve formatting

  • Add internal links

  • Add affiliate links

  • Add advertisements

  • Add disclosures

  • Remove content

without prior approval from contributors.


12. Content Ownership & License

Contributors retain authorship of their original work.

However, by submitting content, contributors grant KALITS a:

  • Worldwide License

  • Perpetual License

  • Irrevocable License

  • Royalty-Free License

  • Transferable License

to:

  • Publish

  • Reproduce

  • Edit

  • Translate

  • Distribute

  • Promote

  • Syndicate

  • Archive

  • Monetize

the submitted content across any platform or medium.

This license survives termination of participation.


13. Contributor Profiles

KALITS may display contributor information including:

  • Name

  • Biography

  • Profile photo

  • Website

  • Social media profiles

  • Professional credentials

By participating, contributors consent to the publication of approved profile information.


14. Compensation

Compensation may be provided through:

  • Fixed payments

  • Revenue-sharing arrangements

  • Bonuses

  • Incentive programs

  • Contributor rewards

  • Sponsored content programs

  • Special editorial campaigns

Compensation structures may vary.

No compensation is guaranteed unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.


15. Contributor Rewards Program

KALITS may operate contributor reward programs based on:

  • Published articles

  • Editorial quality

  • Original reporting

  • Reader engagement

  • Traffic performance

  • Community participation

  • Special initiatives

Reward calculations are determined solely by KALITS.

KALITS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any rewards program at any time.


16. Payment Terms

Payments may be issued:

  • Monthly

  • Quarterly

  • Per Assignment

  • Per Project

  • Per Campaign

depending on the applicable compensation arrangement.

Contributors are responsible for ensuring payment information remains accurate and current.


17. Payment Thresholds

KALITS may establish minimum payout thresholds.

Balances below the threshold may be carried forward until the minimum payout amount is reached.

Thresholds may be modified at KALITS' discretion.


18. Fraud Prevention

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Click fraud

  • Artificial traffic generation

  • Bot traffic

  • Traffic manipulation

  • Fake engagement

  • Fake social signals

  • Identity fraud

  • Payment fraud

  • Account abuse

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate termination

  • Forfeiture of unpaid compensation

  • Permanent disqualification

  • Legal action


19. Confidentiality

Contributors may gain access to confidential information regarding:

  • Editorial operations

  • Revenue programs

  • Business strategies

  • Partnerships

  • Internal systems

Such information must remain confidential unless expressly authorized by KALITS.


20. Conflicts of Interest

Contributors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest.

This includes:

  • Financial interests

  • Business relationships

  • Sponsored relationships

  • Family relationships

  • Ownership interests

Failure to disclose conflicts may result in termination.


21. Contributor Representations

Contributors represent and warrant that:

  • Submitted content is original.

  • They own all necessary rights.

  • Content does not violate laws.

  • Content does not infringe copyrights.

  • Content does not contain defamatory statements.

  • Content does not violate privacy rights.


22. Account Suspension and Termination

KALITS may suspend or terminate participation at any time for reasons including:

  • Editorial violations

  • Plagiarism

  • Fraud

  • Misconduct

  • Failure to provide tax documentation

  • Legal concerns

  • Reputational concerns

  • Violation of these Terms

Termination may occur without prior notice.


23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KALITS shall not be liable for:

  • Lost earnings

  • Lost business opportunities

  • Lost profits

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Special damages

  • Incidental damages

Participation in the program is voluntary and at the contributor's own risk.


24. Indemnification

Contributors agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KALITS, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, partners, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Submitted content

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Violation of applicable laws

  • Infringement of third-party rights


25. Program Modifications

KALITS reserves the right to:

  • Modify program requirements

  • Change compensation structures

  • Adjust reward calculations

  • Update editorial policies

  • Suspend or terminate programs

at any time and without prior notice.


26. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

Any dispute arising from participation in the Contributor & Partner Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
